Did you know you don’t need to own an expensive camera to have good pictures for your blog? When I first started blogging, I admired more experienced bloggers who had exceptional-looking blog pictures on their blogs and I thought only those with good quality expensive cameras could have good pictures or photos on their blog. I had no idea about free stock photo sites where you can high-quality images for free.
Anyone can have high-quality stock photos on their blogs for absolutely nothing! Nowadays you don’t have to pay so much for good quality blog pictures, because they are easily available on the following stock photo sites for free.
And for most of these, you don’t even have to give credit to the owner of the pictures!
However, you want to be careful not to pick overused stock photos. They are not favorable with the algorithm and won’t make your blog stand out from others. You want to use images that are not overly used, because when your images rank on an image search platform, so does your content.

When picking stock photos to use for your blog posts, try to choose ones that are relevant to the topic of your post. It will make your blog posts more appealing to your readers.
Also, choose high-quality photos that have good lighting. Your blog pictures build credibility for you as a blogger. And if they are good, it will make your blog stand out.
Pictures with enough negative/white space and no filters are usually timeless and can be evergreen (which means they never go out of fashion), so try to go for those.
